Gracechurch has awarded four accreditations to several London and UK Regional Market insurers.
The accreditations include: the Claims Service Quality Marque 2025, the Underwriting Service Quality Marque for the London Market, the UK Regional Market Claims Award for 2024, and the Underwriting Service Quality Marque for the UK Regional Market. All insurers were judged by the same criteria of exceeding at least 75% positive ratings over the previous year, ensuring that brokers and beneficiaries can expect a good claims experience.
The prestigious Claims Service Quality Marque was awarded to 11 London insurers in 2025: AEGIS London, AXA XL, Beazley, Chaucer, Chubb, Convex, Liberty Specialty Markets, Markel, The Hartford, Tokio Marine Kiln and W/R/B Underwriting. The achievers were strongly recommended by claims broking specialists using the NPS system and consistently recognised for excellence in communication and commerciality for claims.
The Underwriting Service Quality Marque was awarded for the second year to seven London insurers in 2025, out of over 50 measured. Arch Insurance, Ascot, Canopius, Convex, IQUW, The Hartford and Tokio Marine Kiln were all awarded the 2025 SQM for outstanding underwriting performance in the London Market throughout 2025. These insurers were all strongly recommended by producing and placing brokers in London and rated highly for collaboration and customer focus.
Despite ongoing challenges in the UK regional market, three UK Regional Market insurers received the Claims Award for 2024: Allianz, Chubb and Ecclesiastical.
The three insurers in the UK regional market were highly praised by UK claims broking specialists for their effective communication, responsiveness and knowledge.
Finally, Gracechurch has awarded its Underwriting Service Quality Marque to three UK insurers in 2025.
The insurers achieving the 2025 SQM for outstanding underwriting performance in the UK regional market throughout 2025 are: Allianz, Arch Insurance and AXA.
These insurers were strongly recommended by producing and placing brokers in the UK regional market and were consistently highly rated for collaboration and customer focus.
Ben Bolton, Managing Director of Gracechurch, comments:
"Claims service in the London Market is on average stronger today than at any point in the past decade. Many insurers are delivering what brokers and insureds need: responsiveness, expertise, with proactive communication. However, the continuing wide gap between best and worst performers shows there is still significant service inconsistency.”
